Speksa teams perform a blind counting method which coordinates a systematic visit to all the locations and collect relevant data from equipments as opposed to list based counting which is a confirmation of an theorotical inventory. The data collected from the field is stored electronically and tried against correctness and completeness. Speksa uses proprietary software for counting on Windows based tablets which are paired by industrial grade barcode scanning hardware for quick barcode scanning(for tags, serial numbers, part numbers, etc). While an equipment is counted, it is also tagged and all the collected data is bind to this tag-id. Speksa uses several tag technologies, polyster based, metal and RF-ID anc active tags for asset location and status tracking.
